Hey y’all!
To the people who need a place to stay: I just want y’all to know that the people who submit their homes to us may or may not be safe to stay with. As of right now, there is no “screening” process of any sort. We are only taking submissions at this point and until we figure out organizational structure this is the best method we’ve thought of.
Things to consider:
If you feel uncomfortable, you can always leave and try to find another place to stay. If that’s not an option, feel free to contact us with where you’re staying (and who you’re staying with) and we’ll try to keep in contact with you and the Host to ensure your safety.
If you want, there are also shelters available. Information for shelters will be provided once we research more into them.
I would advise you carry some sort of item to protect yourself at all times. If you have a bad experience with a Host, please let us know so we can report and contact them about their behaviors (and of course we’ll remove them from this resource).
